What is it called when you get a new car and you see that same car everywhere?

I decided to enlist in the Air Force and now I am randomly notice cars that have Air Force bumper stickers more often than normal. I know the same thing occurs when you buy a new car. You randomly start seeing that car more often. I know that it has to do with filters in the brain, but what is the scientific name for this occurrence called?
